All your schoolwork in one place, on your own Mac.
LucieClass is a study app for secondary school. Your notes, documents, flashcards and planning live together, and Lucie, your study buddy, helps you study with your own material. Everything is stored in a folder on your computer; you don't need an account.
Coming soon for Mac. System requirements: a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 13 or later.
With JavaScript, this page shows the real parts of the app.
Features
Notes, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, whiteboards, sources and flashcards are sorted by subject in your Library. You open files in tabs and put two side by side. With flashcards you test yourself at the right moment, and the planner holds your tests and deadlines.
Lucie turns your own sources into an audio explainer, an idea web, flashcards and a quiz.
Works with your favourite models
Download a free open model in the app that runs on your own Mac, even without internet: Qwen3 1.7B (1.1 GB), Ministral 3 3B (2.1 GB), Qwen3 4B Instruct (2.5 GB, recommended), Phi-4 mini (2.5 GB) or Ministral 3 8B (5.2 GB), under the Apache-2.0 or MIT licence. The app checks every download's size and SHA-256 checksum. You can also use Apple Intelligence (macOS 26 on a Mac with Apple silicon), Ollama or LM Studio on your own Mac, or your own account with OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini or OpenRouter, only after you agree. LucieClass works with these models and services, but is not affiliated with or endorsed by their makers.
LucieClass Store (coming soon)
Soon you will connect LucieClass to services you already use, like OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Gmail, Outlook and Google Calendar, and switch on plug-ins for your subjects. The Store is not in the app yet; Extensions already has Focus sounds and the Mnemonics maker.
Privacy
Your files are in your own Library folder and the database is on your computer. There's no account, no LucieClass server and no analytics. Read the privacy policy.
GDPR
LucieClass handles your files on your own computer. If you choose an AI provider yourself, the app asks for your consent first, and then your question, earlier messages of the chat and the notes and sources it uses (your selection or, if you select nothing, your whole subject or all your subjects) go to that provider.
